MORE than 200 children filled Apex Park and took part in a treasure hunt.
On Wednesday (August 21) families collected a map and question sheet from Apex Park’s main office, search for the treasure and answer fifteen questions correctly.
Each child who attended the event, which was organised by The Friends of Apex Park, was awarded with a medal and small prize as a reward and walked over a mile whilst exploring the park.
A spokesman for Sedgemoor District Council, said: "The Friends of Apex Park hosted the free event and received some wonderful comments from people saying that they got to see parts of the park such as the woodland area and the Living Art Sculpture that they never knew existed.
"The Friends of Apex Park would like to thank the public for their kind donations which will go towards future group events. "
