SITE: The Pier Street car park in Burnham
A GROUP of travellers have moved on to a Burnham-on-Sea car park.
Sedgemoor District Council has been made aware of the camp, in the Pier Street Car Park.
"SDC is aware that there is currently a group of travellers at Pier Street car park in Burnham," said a council spokesperson.
"Sedgemoor’s legal team has visited the site to speak with the group; carry out the welfare checks required by law and issued them with notice to go over the weekend."
