CALLOUT: A crew from Burnham attended the blaze
A CAR was badly damaged by fire in Highbridge.
Firefighters were called to the incident, in Bristol Road, Highbridge, at around 8.20pm on Saturday night.
A crew from Burnham attended and dealt with the fire, which destroyed the vehicle engine compartment.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
