POLICE have launched an appeal to find the victim of an alleged attempted robbery which happened over the weekend.
The man, who was reportedly the subject of an attempted robbery, was seen in Vicarage Gardens in Hartlepool at around 4.30am on Sunday.
It is believed the alleged victim left the scene before police arrived to the site.
A 30-year-old man has since been charged with assault and robbery, and appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 14.
Police investigating the incident have asked the victim to come forward and contact DC Jodi Mallon at Cleveland Police using the non-emergency number 101.
Anyone with information is asked to quote incident reference number on 176485 when speaking to police.
