A MAN was cut free from a car by firefighters after a crash in Highbridge.
Firefighters from Burnham on Sea and Bridgwater were sent to a report of a crash in Bennet Road in Highbridge at 11.13am on Friday (November 1).
On arrival crews confirmed that the incident involved two vehicles and that a man was stuck in one of the cars.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove one of the car doors.
This enabled paramedics and fire crews to extricate the man from the car and onto a stretcher.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
The vehicles were also made safe by firefighters.
