THOUSANDS of people are expected to line the streets for Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea Carnival tonight (November 4).
The procession is set to kick off at 7.30pm and the town will be illuminated as carnival clubs from across Somerset will parade through the town.
Organisers say more than 70 entries will be taking to the streets at this year's event and the procession will be led by Carnival Queen Jessica Smith and her two princesses Belle-Seren Tetsell and Chloe Herowych.

A number of roads have already been closed in Burnham's town centre and more will be closed at 4pm today.
Last year's carnival raised more than £12,000 and organisers are urging people to dig deep into their pockets for this year's event.
