Emergency services were called at around 2.15am on Sunday (November 3) following reports of a crash on a roundabout in Church Street.

The front of the car was badly damaged in the crash and debris from the car littered the road following the incident.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said an 18-year-old man has been charged with drink driving and will appear at Taunton Magistrates Court next month.

The spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of single vehicle road traffic collision in Church Street in Highbridge at about 2.15am on Sunday morning (November 3).
