X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan returns to Carlisle next week as part of her latest tour.

The singer songwriter shot to fame after appearing on the reality show in 2012.

The most Googled musician of 2012, Spraggan was the first X Factor artist to play Glastonbury, disproving James Arthur’s claims that the festival doesn’t book reality show acts.

She performed there again this year on the Avalon Stage after filling the Acoustic Tent in 2017.

She has also produced five albums of honest, endearing and emotional songs of love, loss and laughter, running up 50 million views on YouTube and more than 25 million streams on Spotify.

Her latest, Today Was a Good Day marks a new chapter for her musically and she describes it as “an album about growing up.”.
