A TEAM of fundraisers from a Burnham-on-Sea barber shop have raised £1,500 for charity by growing moustaches during 'Movember'.
'Team Lowe's Bro's' from Lowe's Barbershop in High Street spent November growing, pruning and donning moustaches of different shapes and styles to raise awareness of men's mental health.
Since it was established 16 years ago Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world and aims to transform the way health services reach and support men.
Mike Lowe, owner of Lowe's Barbershop, said: "The response has been unbelievable with conversations about mental health being started, and the whole shop discussing all types of issues openly.
"We’ve also been hounding you all for donations and wow, you folks are amazing!
"An incredible amount of over £1500 has been collected this year. Thank you so much for the bottom of our hearts from all the Lowe’s Bro’s Team."
