BURNHAM-on-Sea and Highbridge residents are being invited to learn more about Highbridge's history at a special event.
On November 5 local historian John Strickland will be presenting a illustrated slideshow of Highbridge's history at the Morland Community Hub in Pearce Drive on February 5 from 2pm until 4.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Morland Community Hub, said: "Why not join us and travel back to a time when Highbridge had four brickworks, a saw mill and a busy market and the main employers were Morlands, Brensal Boats, Woodbury & Hains, Buncombe’s Steam Rollers, the Bristol Omnibus, the wharf and the railway."
Tickets cost £4 and must be paid for in advance.
