CANNABIS plants with a street value of around £50,000 have been seized from a property in Highbridge by police.
Officers from Burnham and Highbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a search warrant in Morland Road on Thursday (February 6) and seized 'a significant number' of cannabis plants.
In a tweet on Thursday a spokesperson for ASPSedgemoor said the plants have a street value of around £50,000.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
"At around 8.25am on February 6 officers executed a warrant under S23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property on Morland Road in Highbridge," the spokesperson said.
"Neighbourhood officers obtained the warrant after receiving information from the community.
"A significant number of cannabis plants were discovered inside the address and have been seized. Enquiries are ongoing.
"We’d like to thank the members of the public who reported their concerns and would encourage anyone else who thinks they may have information about drug supply or production to contact us on 101."
