WELLS MP James Heappey said he feels 'truly honoured' after being appointed Minister for the Armed Forces in the cabinet reshuffle.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a host of changes to his Cabinet on Thursday (February 13) which mean Mr Heappey will leave his post as Minister for Defence Procurement and take on the role of Minister for the Armed Forces.
Mr Heappey will be responsible for armed forces activity including operations, operational legal matters, force generation and international defence engagement.
In a tweet on Thursday, Mr Heappey said: "Truly honoured to be moving a few offices down the corridor at @DefenceHQ to become Minister for the Armed Forces.
