MORE than 200 train lovers packed into The King Alfred School Academy as the a model train show came to town.
On Saturday and Sunday (February 15 and 16) train lovers young and old braved wet and windy weather to enjoy the 3rd Somerset Gauge 0 show which was full of model train experts, vintage trains and colourful handmade train stations.
George Moon, who helped to organise the event, said: "In addition to the usual traders selling tools, new and second-hand kits and ready to run models, layouts from clubs or individuals attended from Hayle and Minehead. The Group's own layouts and continuous test track were also in operation.
"Light refreshments were on sale and were much appreciated by both Show staff and visitors. As usual, the organisers are grateful to The King Alfred School Academy for hosting the event."
