A LATE night fire which destroyed a car is believed to have been started deliberately.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 10.43pm on Wednesday (March 18) to reports of a fire in the distance.
One fire crew from Burnham-on-Sea was sent to the scene.
A spokesperson for the fire service, said: "On arrival crews confirmed that this was actually a vehicle on fire.
"The vehicle was almost burnt out by the times crews got to it.
"Due to the access to the vehicle, crews stood by until it was completely burnt out. It was believed to be deliberate ignition.
"The police have been informed."
