THERE has been another confirmed positive Covid-19 case in Somerset.
The person tested positive for the virus in the 24-hours to 5pm yesterday (Monday).
Over the same period, NHS England again reported there had been no coronavirus related deaths in the county.
It means there have now been 1,279 positive tests in the county council area.
The results include results from lab and hospital tests as well as in the community.
The new confirmed case was in the Mendip district.
The latest positive test results for for each district are:
123 in Mendip; 390 in Sedgemoor; 436 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 330 in South Somerset.
