THIS vehicle ended up in a precarious position in a ditch following a police chase.
The driver sped off from Bridgwater police officers and tried to escape across a field yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
Unfortunately for them, the car came to a halt as it finished up nose up in the ditch.
Officers made one arrest, while two passengers had to be helped out of the vehicle via the hatchback.
A force spokesman said: "Cracking job for Bridgwater officers this afternoon.
"Vehicle made off from officers.
"A cunning escape plan across the field led to disaster when the driver ran out of talent into a large ditch.
"One arrested, two passengers extricated via hatchback."
