POLICE are investigating the report of a vehicle having its tyres slashed in Kendal.

A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said the black Volkswagen Tiguan was parked on Castle Street when it happened.

The spokesman said the incident happened overnight between July 28 and 29.

Police have now launched an appeal and are 'keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious people in the area through the night.'
