THERE were NINE new confirmed Covid-19 cases in Somerset recorded in the latest 48-hour period.
There was two positive tests in Mendip, four in Sedgemoor and three in South Somerset in the 48-hour period up to 5pm yesterday (Saturday).
There were no new cases identified in Somerset West and Taunton.
The total number of confirmed cases in Somerset has risen to 1,386 since the start of the pandemic.
The district totals are Mendip 157; Sedgemoor 413; Somerset West and Taunton 463; South Somerset 353.
