THREE refuse trucks have been destroyed in a fire on an industrial estate
Several firefighters spent two hours battling the blaze in Winterstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare yesterday (Tuesday).
Crews were sent to the scene shortly before 4pm
No-one was hurt in the incident, but a spokesperson for North Somerset Recycling and Waste said the vehicles had been written off.
Staff are making every effort to reduce the impact on refuse collections today.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire is believed to have started accidentally.
