EMOTIONAL tributes have been paid to a Somerset teen tragically killed in a crash last week.

Police said a motorcyclist died after an incident on Bleadon Road, in North Somerset, at around 9.15pm on Wednesday (October 7).

The incident saw a motorcycle collide with a car on the busy road, at the junction with the A370.

The victim has been named locally as Highbridge teenager Levi Kelson, 19.

Floral tributes have been left at the scene, alongside balloons and photographs.

"A true mate to everyone whose path you crossed. Will truly miss you Levi," read one.

Another said: "To one of the best mates I will ever meet.

"I will never forget you.

"We're all going to miss you so much mate.

"Words can't describe how much you meant to everyone.

"It won't be the same without you."

A GoFundMe appeal has also been created to help give Levi 'the send off he deserves'.

Creator of the appeal, Kate Studley, wrote: "Levi leaves behind his twin sister Madi, his older sister Ria and his little sister Faith and his Mum and Alan.

"Levi was born and lived in Highbridge.

"I am asking for donations for his Mum (Nina) and his family so they are able to give him the send off he deserves.

"He was a well know liked and loved young man."

Police are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and help the investigation.

"We’d like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or may hold dash cam footage of the incident," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.

"If you can help, contact police on 101 and give the call handler the reference 5220227833."

People can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via an anonymous online form.

"No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers," said a charity spokesperson.
