THERE were 20 new positive Covid-19 tests in Somerset up to 5pm yesterday (October 17).
Mendip had an increase of seven new cases - the most out of the four districts.
Sedgemoor saw a rise of five, Somerset West and Taunton has six more cases and South Somerset only had two.
This brings the total number of cases in Somerset since March to 2,153.
The totals for each district are as follows:
- Mendip: 334
- Sedgemoor: 570
- Somerset West and Taunton: 717
- South Somerset: 532
