A LETTER has been sent to parents telling them Year 11 pupils are to self-isolate at Dowdales School after a student from the year group tested positive for Covid-19.
This isolation began on October 23 and will continue for 14 days.
In the letter, issued by headteacher Miss Aubrey, it says only the student will need to isolate and not the whole family.
However, if they do start to get symptoms, the whole family will have to isolate.
Students will return to the school on November 9 and will receive remote learning in the meantime, the letter said.
