A SERIAL sex offender has been jailed for filming several women without their knowledge of consent.

It is believed Jamie Fowler may have filmed the women in the Taunton, Weston-super-Mare and Clifton area.

Most of the 17 videos clips discovered on his phone are of lone women jogging in locations including woodland and a canal path.

Police believe the footage was taken between March and June last year.

Fowler, 26, of Grenville Avenue, Weston-super-Mare, was jailed for 16 months at Bristol Crown Court on Monday for breaching an indefinite Sexual Offences Prevention Order imposed in 2013.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Investigators haven’t been able to identify exactly where the clips were filmed but they could be in the Weston-super-Mare, Clifton and Taunton areas.

"We believe the women who were filmed by Fowler may remember being followed and would like them to call 101, quoting reference 5220145194."

He was previously jailed for 14 months in 2017 for outraging public decency by offences which included performing a sex act in front of two young girls.
