THERE have been a further five Covid-19 related deaths in Somerset in the latest daily figures.
Of those who died of any cause within 28 days of testing positive for the virus, three were in the Somerset West and Taunton district and two were in South Somerset.
There were no coronavirus linked deaths in Sedgemoor or Mendip in the figures released yesterday night on behalf of the Government.
The latest tragic deaths takes the death toll linked to the virus in the county council area since the pandemic began to 373, with 112 in South Somerset, 76 in SWT, 94 in Sedgemoor and 91 in Mendip.
