A LONDONER suspected of being involved in supplying hard drugs in Somerset has appeared in court in Taunton.
Emad El Haddad, 21, of Gloucester Road in the capital, faced two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and one count of human trafficking under Section 2 of the Modern Slavery Act.
He was remanded in custody during an appearance at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
He has been ordered to appear at Taunton Crown Court on February 19.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said Haddad was arrested and charged by officers from Operation Remedy on suspicion of being involved in a county lines operation supplying drugs in Weston-super-Mare.
