FIRE investigation officers are looking into the cause of a fire at a three-storey building yesterday evening (Saturday).
Firefighters from six fire station were sent to the incident in School Lane, Rowberrow, Winscombe, shortly before 6pm.
On arrival, crews were greeted by smoke and flames issuing from the premises.
The fire was in the roof space involving the flue from a wood burner which had spread to the roof timbers, insulation and voids.
Crews with breathing apparatus tackled the flames using three short extension ladders.
A service spokesperson said the roof space was 50 per cent damaged by hear and smoke.
