POLICE have issued more fines to people who ignored their pleas to stay away from a Somerset beach.
A total of four people were issued with fines for breaching Covid-19 restrictions at Brean yesterday (Saturday).
The culprits had ravelled from Bristol to the Sedgemoor area "for exercise".
The previous day, officers had issued warnings to people from outside the area to stay away.
It came after more than 80 non local people had descended on Brean last weekend.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police in Sedgemoor said: "With education around travelling still not being taken seriously, Sedgemoor Neighbourhood Policing Team have issued four Covid fines to people making unnecessary travel from Bristol to Brean beach for exercise.
