The M5 clocked up the fourth highest total of speeding offences from 2019 to 2020.

Over that period, 14,833 were booked for breaking the speed limit on the M5.

The only roads were more speeding offences were the A282 in Kent, where 26,920 motorists were clocked going too fast; the M25 in Surrey, where there were 23,558 speeders; and the M4 between Clayponds Avenue and Transport Avenue, with 16,188 offenders.
