A MAN from Burnham-on-Sea has taken on a walking challenge to raise funds in support of autistic people in the UK and Ireland.

Andrew Humphries and his son Freddie started their walk last week, as part of the nationwide Walk for Autism initiative.

Participants in the challenge are walking 10,000 steps every day from March 26 to April 2, and as it is a virtual event (rather than there being any organised events to attend), all those getting involved can walk at their own pace, in their own time.
