C R Lambert

CHRISTOPHER Robin Lambert, of Highbridge, passed away at home on March 6, 2021, aged 73.

A funeral service was held on March 25 at St John’s Church, Highbridge, followed by interment in Highbridge Cemetery along with his late mother, Mary.

The service was conducted by Reverend Dan Crouch.

Christopher's daughter Julie and grandson James gave tributes.

Christopher’s last journey through Highbridge was by horse drawn carriage so that his many family and friends could pay tribute to him en route.

Family Mourners: Julie Taylor and Matt Price - Daughter and partner, Glenn Lambert -Son, Gary and Steph Lambert - Son and daughter in Law, Lee Lambert and Alexis Lawrence - Son and Partner.

Grandchildren: Shannon Lambert, James Taylor and Cassie Sutton, Jack Lambert, Luke Lambert, Josh Taylor, Lottie Taylor, Aiden and Max Lambert, Jaxson Lambert, Sebastian - Great grandson.

Brothers and sisters: Raymond and Lin Lambert, Christine Whitcombe and Jim Cox, June Rochford, Patricia Richmond and Mike Hellier, Jenny Ham.

Nieces and Nephews: Paul and Scott Whitcombe, Mathew and Sarah Rochford, Emma Wescott, Richard Lambert, Darren and Ansley Fisher, Brendan Richmond, David Ham, Russel Ham, James Ham, Claire Davies, Mandy Tucker - Cousin, Sarah Hall, Sharon Omar, Kayleigh Williams, Dave And Yvette, Nicole Whitcombe and Jake Haywood, Susan Wright, Sarah Heal, Mike Davis-rep Pauline Davis, Sharon Kerr, Jimmy Kerr, Bob and Sonia Evans.

There were family flowers only, donations in lieu for Cancer Research UK are being accepted by the Funeral Directors.

Arrangements were taken care of by R Millard & Son, 6 Springfield Road, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 3AH.

The family would like to thank everyone for the messages of condolence and the kind support received during their sad loss.

P H Lyes

PHILIP Herbert Lyes, of Highbridge, passed away at Kingsleigh Residential Care Home on March 8, 2021, aged 88.

A funeral service was held on March 24.

The funeral service took place at Sedgemoor Crematorium. The ashes casket was interred in Highbridge Cemetery in the family grave.

Philip was a committee member of many local organisations within the town of Highbridge.

The service was conducted by Minister Marian Bishop.

Andrew Lyes, Matt Ellis, Cameron and Kelsey Lyes acted as pall bearers.

Family Mourners: Pam Lyes – Wife, Andrew & Mandy Lyes – Son and Daughter in Law, Sally & Matt Ellis – Daughter and Son in Law, Cameron, Kelsey, Ewan and Shelby Lyes – Grandchildren, Maryanne, Sam and Alex Ellis – Grandchildren, Mrs Carol Jones – Sister, Mr Richard Jones – Brother in Law, Mrs Tina Goodall – Niece, Miss Helen Jones – Niece, Miss Margaret Baulch, Mrs Joyce Curtis, Mrs Mandy Partridge, Mrs Maureen Anson, Mr Gary Anson, Mrs Julie Andrew – Rep. Kingsleigh Residential Care Home.

Unable to attend: June & John Holley, Shirley Adams.
