A SPONSORED walk is aiming to raise £2,000 in support of Burnham-on-Sea's local hospital.
Saturday, April 24 will see walkers take to Burnham beach, as part of a fundraiser for the Friends of Burnham-on-Sea War Memorial Hospital.
The charitable foundation is dedicated to helping those in need, but this has been a difficult time for the team at the hospital and the friends group, as normal fundraising has been limited amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Participants in the walk will be able to choose to walk to Berrow beach and back, or Brean Down and back, with start times to be staggered between 10am and 11am to keep walkers well spaced out.
