A MAN wanted by the police has recently been seen in the Bridgwater area.
Richard Smart, 53, is wanted on a recall to prison, having previously been sentenced for burglaries committed across Avon and Somerset.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Smart has links to Bristol and Somerset, but is known to travel all over the South West.
"Most recently he has been seen in Brislington and Bridgwater."
He is described as white, approximately 6ft tall, average build, and having grey hair with stubble.
He has blue eyes and he speaks with a West Country accent.
He has a small scar above his right eyebrow, and tattoos on his arms.
Anyone who sees him should not approach him and call 999 and give reference number 5221086256.
Or, if you know of his whereabouts, call 101 and give the call-handler the same reference code.
