Bill's restaurant in Taunton
UNCERTAINTY surrounds the future of Bill's restaurant in Taunton.
The Cheapside eaterie is not re-opening on Monday (May 17) following the easing of lockdown measures.
And the company has not given a date for when or if it will start trading again.
Unsubstantiated rumours have been circulating in the county town for some time that Bill's might be closing for good.
In response to a query from the County Gazette, a spokesperson for the company was unable to say when or if customers would be welcomed back.
They said: "Unfortunately the Bill's Taunton is closed.
"We do not have the re-opening date yet, however as soon as we have more information we will update our website."
