THE former Lidl store in Roman Road, Taunton, is no more.
The building has been demolished ahead of work to build a bigger supermarket.
Diggers moved in midway through last month after the store closed.
A new Lidl store will be built on the site and on the neighbouring former Six Acres day centre land.
How the new Lidl store will look.
Construction work is scheduled to be completed in November and the new store is due to welcome customers in time for the Christmas rush.
Lidl previously demolished its second store in Wood Street, Taunton, to replace it with a larger one on Castle Street.
