TWO lanes on the M5 motorway have now re-opened following a fatal crash earlier today (June 26).
Lanes between junction 24 (Bridgwater) and 25 (Taunton) southbound are now open, but there is still heavy traffic in the area.
Highways England has said there is 12 miles of 'extremely slow traffic' and delays of more than two hours.
Lane one remains closed for recovery of the vehicle and repairs to the safety barrier.
The collision involved one vehicle, a black Audi, and sadly the passenger died at the scene.
