GUESTS enjoyed an open day and a hog road for Burnham and Highbridge Sea Cadets on Sunday, October 10.
The Mayor of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge, Mike Facey, and town councillors attended the event to celebrate the cadets 50th anniversary.
Former cadets had the chance to look at old photographs, and guests enjoyed a tombola, raffle, auction as well as a range of craft stalls.
Carol Roberts, unit chair of the cadets, said: "'We have had a fantastic day.
"The day has not only given us an opportunity to raise much needed funds but also to show people some of the activities available to our young people."
