BRIDGWATER History Day is set to make a welcome return on Saturday, November 20.
The popular annual event celebrating the town's past was called off last year due to Covid and was instead held online.
Now that it's back, you'll be able to catch a selection of stories from the town's fascinating history at the event at the Bridgwater Arts Centre, running from 10.30am to 4pm.
Entry is free and includes "some historic free meal" at midday.
Bridgwater History Day is sponsored by Bridgwater Town Council and Bridgwater and Taunton College.
This year features a number of local speakers who will be covering cover topics ranging from King Arthur, through to Bridgwater’s parks and gardens to folk songs of the town and some modern political history.
And you'll be able to delve through photos of old Bridgwater that local photographic archivist Paul Bovett has dug out.
