BURNHAM bathed in light as the town's Christmas countdown got underway at a special event on Saturday (November 20).
The Christmas lights were switched on after a day of festive fun in the town, organised by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council, alongside other town groups.
Among the attractions were fair rides and stalls in town streets throughout the day, before the big switch-on, carried out by Mayor Mike Facey and Wurzles singer, Tommy Banner.
