LIKE a scene from cult comedy Hot Fuzz, a SWAN was causing problems in Somerset yesterday (Sunday).
The bird was on the M5 motorway causing drivers to raise the alarm - and lower their speeds - at around 10.30am.
The swan was spotted between junctions 22 (Burnham/Weston) and 23 (Burnham/Bridgwater).
Police were called to the scene and the traffic soon started moving normally again, with the swan believed to have made its way off the route safely.
