EAST Huntspill Primary Academy and West Huntspill Primary Academy raised almost £200 for Children in Need after encouraging pupils and staff to wear their own clothes to school. 

Some children wore spots and Pudsey-inspired clothing, while teachers and other members of staff were pictured getting into the spirit of the day with special headwear, ties, and jumpers. 

The schools raised an amazing £193.44 for Childen in Need. 

East Huntspill Primary Academy and West Hunspill Primary Academy, both located in Highbridge, are attended by children aged between four and 11. 

Children in Need's 41st appeal show, held on Friday, November 19, raised a whopping £39,389,048. 

This year's total was £2 million higher than the programme's 2020 figure. 

The appeal show was presented by Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc, Graham Norton, Chris Ramsey, and Alex Scott MBE. 

The show saw live performances from Ed Sheeran and Tom Grennan, alongside sketches and special episodes of programmes such as The Wall, The Graham Norton Show, and The Repair Shop.
