TAUNTON Town are set to make the 120 mile trip to South West London on Saturday to face Walton Casuals in the Pitching In Southern League.

In the home fixture of this match up in September, Taunton were 3-0 winners and on the scoresheet that day were Gethyn Hill, Dan Sullivan and Ben Adelsbury.

All of whom are available and could be in the starting lineup on the weekend.

After the impressive 1-2 victory midweek against Weston-super-Mare, manager Rob Dray said the team has some confidence now.

"We got a little bit of confidence now, it is important to get that momentum and bounce after a win."

Despite the confidence, Dray is aware of the challenge ahead against Walton.

"They are strong but we have some good information on them.

"But as we have seen in this league, if you turn up on the day and apply yourself properly you can win the game and we have enough in this squad to do that every week."

The win against Weston was the first time Taunton have won there since March 1990 when they recorded a 4-1 away win in Town's Championship winning season under Keith Bowker.

It will be interesting to see if that stat and the victory gives Taunton an added boost going forward in the league.

Taunton return to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Tuesday night (December 7) when they take on Yate Town, kick off is 7:45pm.

You can purchase tickets online now through the club website or on the gates where you can pay cash or card.
