THE Old Manor in Weston-Super-Mare, has raised over £300 for charity partner Make-A-Wish by hosting a family fun day.

Located on Newton's Road, the Old Manor has been an integral part of the Weston-Super-Mare community for many years.

As part of the ‘Sizzling Community Change’ campaign, the pub chain has set themselves the goal of collectively raising one million pennies for their charity partner Make-A-Wish UK, and other local community good causes, through a series of fundraising activities.

Burnham and Highbridge Weekly News:

After kickstarting their fundraising activity with the launch of a special charity dessert last month, the Old Manor kicked things up a notch by hosting a family fun day over the bank holiday weekend.

Guests were invited to take part in a range of activities including a quiz, raffle, and a children's disco, with those in attendance, encouraged to give generously to this great cause.

Ryan Hall, general manager at the Old Manor, said: “At the Old Manor we pride ourselves on being at the heart of the West-Super-Mare community, and this charity partnership will help make a big difference to the lives of children and their families both in Weston-Super-Mare and across the UK.

“We’re so proud to be supporting Make-A-Wish UK as part of our Sizzling Community Change campaign, and it was great to welcome faces old and new to the Old Manor for our family fun day and raise money for this brilliant cause in the process.”
