A BURNHAM-ON-SEA woman accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and assaulting two men has been sent for trial at Exeter Crown Court.
Rachel Louise Hughes, of Beatty Way, pleaded not guilty to the offences at Exeter Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday, June 13).
Court documents allege that Hughes, 46, “unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm” upon a woman without intent in Tiverton, Devon, on November 21.
She is also accused of assaulting two men by beating them in the town on the same day.
Hughes elected trial by jury and was granted unconditional bail.
She is due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on Friday, July 15.
