Calvin Harris is coming to Glasgow on July 2 as he plays his first homecoming show in six years.

The Dumfries-born DJ and music producer last performed in Scotland when he headlined the Saturday of the T in the Park festival in July 2016.

It is also his first home concert since the pandemic began and forced his set at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee in the summer of 2020 to be cancelled.

On the Hampden Park website, it says the gate opening time is yet to be confirmed, however on the Ticketmaster website, this is listed as 4pm.

What items are banned from Calvin Harris at Hampden Park?

Items banned from the event include any type of weapon, fireworks, flares or laser items.

You must also not bring any bottles, cans, glass vessels or umbrellas.

Is there an age limit for the Calvin Harris concert?

No one under the age of 16 will be permitted into this event, according to Ticketmaster. This is the case for both standing and seated tickets.

How to get to Hampden Park

Hampden Park is easily accessed by train, car, bus or by walking.

Rail: It is a five-minute walk from Mount Florida and King's Park train stations with trains running from Glasgow Central.

Bus: First Bus services to Hampden include the 5, 6, 7, 7A, 34, 90 and 31

Car: The stadium is five minutes from Junction 1a of the M74. Exit onto Polmadie Road/A728 and follow as it merges onto Aikenhead Road.

Parking is restricted on event days and there is no public parking in the vicinity of the stadium on major event days.

Walking: Hampden is a 45-minute walk from Glasgow's city centre.
