PEOPLE in the village of Rooksbridge are being encouraged to use the local play area more frequently.
A new bench has been installed in the Joseph's Pond facility thanks to the efforts of East Brent Parish Council, which funds the park.
The bench was purchased in time for the recent Queen's Platinum Jubilee and installed by a number of councillors.
Cllr Mark Wall said: "We are trying to get more people to use the park, so we thought a picnic bench might bring people into it."
