A MONTHLY bazaar and farmers' market proved its popularity once more in Brent Knoll on Saturday, August 13.

The village's Bazaar & Farmers’ Market & Parish Café is held on the second Saturday of the month at the parish hall and is free to enter.

This month's market featured arts and crafts stalls, an extensive selection of bric-a-brac, and home made cakes and other baked goods.

The next bazaar and farmers' market will take place on Saturday, September 10 between 10am and 12pm.

A spokesperson said: “If you have never visited us, do come along and see what you have been missing!

“We have good-quality bric-a-brac, toys, games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, records, and a huge variety of books.

“In our café, we serve drinks, bacon rolls, and snacks. Our raffle table is always full of goodies to win.”

Villagers can also look forward to the community shop's ‘Sausage Sizzler’, which will be held in the parish hall's Nuttall Room between 10am and 12pm on Saturday, August 27.

An August Teas event will then be held at St Michael's Church between 2pm and 4.40pm on Sunday, August 28.
