EMERGENCY services were called to a fire next to the iconic Willowman statue beside the M5 in Somerset.
Police and firefighters were sent to the incident on the Kingsdown estate at Bridgwater earlier today (Sunday, August 21).
A spokesperson for Sedgemoor and Hinkley Point Neighbourhood Policing team said: "Luckily they were able to stop the fire from getting out of hand but this is a plea to the public to be safe around any fire hazards and to report a fire as soon as possible."
