A POPULAR ladies night that raises money for Breast Cancer now will return to Brean Leisure Park next month, with tickets on sale now.

The over-18s-only event will take place at The Tavern on Friday, October 7 and feature some adult entertainment, a drag act, and a raffle.

This will be the tenth ladies night held by the Somerset Breast Cancer Now group and the second of the year to make up for missed events due to Covid.

The previous ladies night in March raised nearly £2,500 for the charity

In 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now united to create the UK's most comprehensive breast cancer charity.

Breast Cancer Now aims to ensure that everyone with the disease lives, and lives well, by 2050.

Somerset Breast Cancer Now group chair Holly MacBeth said: “Come and join us on Friday, October 7 at The Tavern, Brean Leisure Park.

“Ticket price is £16pp and is an over 18s ladies event only. There will be male acts and of course our amazing drag artist.

“You can contact us on Facebook at Somerset Breast Cancer Now or message me on 07738405085 for tickets.

“We are extremely excited and we hope you will be too.

“Thank you all for your continued support and please help us make 2022 a good year of fundraising for Somerset Breast Cancer Now.”
