THE planting at Weston's floral clock is nearly complete.
The clock, which had been concreted over by the town's Lions Club, features 2,000 plants in total.
A North Somerset Council spokesperson said: "The planting at Weston's floral clock is nearly complete.
"Our contractors Glendale Services have been hard at work bringing the new planting design to life.
"It features 2,000 plants in total, and uses bee-friendly species and colourful ornamental shrubs that are easy to look after and don’t need as much watering as other plants.
"The two circles in the design will be filled in by annual plants, and we’ll change these designs every year. This year we’re celebrating 200 years of the RNLI.
"Thanks to everyone who has sponsored the floral clock and helped make this happen
"Volunteers are a huge part of the clock’s history, and they’re vital to its future too. If you’d like to help look after this space, we’re running a session for volunteers on Wednesday, May 15 at 10am. If you’re interested in joining please email parksranger@n-somerset.gov.uk."
