A MAN from Weston-super-Mare has cycled over 200km to raise money for the RNLI.
Jason Belcher - whose brother-in-law is a member of Weston lifeboat crew - travelled 200km on his charity fundraiser cycle, during which he stopped off in Burnham-on-Sea.
His route was took him from Weston to Portishead, then back Weston's Stones Café, along the coastline to Burnham-on-Sea RNLI lifeboat station and then back to Weston again.
He finished by doing circuits of Weston Esplanade until reaching his target of 200 kilometres.
During his venture, Jason was joined by friends Keith Drinkwater ,and Ollie Halmkin, also from Weston.
Upon their arrival at Burnham-on-Sea lifeboat station, they were greeted by a small reception party of RNLI volunteers, and Jason’s relative, Heather Major, who lives in Burnham-on-Sea.
Before leaving, they posed for a documentary photograph in front of Burnham's boathouse.
Jason said: "It was initially a challenging target, but on our finishing, we shall have raised over a thousand pounds for the RNLI."
